im new to fitness, will i still be able to come to your club?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of options to teach you how to safely and properly exercise in a supportive, encouraging and non-intimidating environment. Many of our current members and clients started out with little or no exercise experience and have since seen phenomenal results!
how do i get to use the facility 24/7?
All members receive a personal key fob with which to access the facility 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Is there staff always at the location?
Do I need to bring a lock for my belongings?
You’re welcome to lock your personal items in our day use lockers but it isn’t required. We’ve never had any issues with theft due to the smaller more personal nature of our facility
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
There will be trainers working with clients at the facility most days from 6:00am – 9:00pm. We have staff available at the front desk Monday – Thursday from 3:00 – 7:00pm and management is often around during the day and is always available by appointment.
What if there is an emergecny?
We do our best to pre-qualify members and clients for any safety concerns but if there is an emergency the facility is under 24/7 surveillance and we have 2 panic buttons on site to immediately dispatch emergency services.
Are staff members certified trainers?
Yes. All staff members providing personal training, coaching, or any kind of teaching are fully certified, insured and have current CPR training.
do you have a leg press?
No. We are a functional training facility and as such we value open space to move around. The leg press machine is bulky and takes up a lot of space. The leg press is in no way functional, and strength developed while using this apparatus does not have any translation to real-world movement. It is very common to find a person who can leg press hundreds of pounds and is unable to squat properly with only their body weight. We have 12 squat racks and prefer to teach our members and clients how to properly squat, lunge and deadlift for lower body development.
what is functional fitness?
Functional fitness are exercises that include one or multiple of the following movements; squat, lunge, bend, push, pull, twist, gait (walk) and can be performed in a variety of planes of motion with a variety of exercise apparatus but do not exclude muscles needed for stability or core strength. Basically, functional exercise has a real world translation.
